Our Story

David's path to interior design is anything but conventional, and that's exactly what makes the work stand out. It began at Parsons School of Design, where David earned the Womenswear Designer of the Year award before spending years on luxury design teams in New York City. That world, built on proportion, texture, and restraint, trained an eye that translates seamlessly to the home. When David made the shift to interiors, he brought everything with him: refined taste, sharp attention to detail, and a deep understanding of how the things we surround ourselves with shape how we feel.

David has built lasting relationships with builders, craftspeople, and vendors to execute full home builds and renovations from the ground up. Every finish, textile, and spatial decision is made with intention and a real understanding of how families grow and change within their homes over time. As a painter and photographer, he begins every project with a clear creative vision grounded in fine art principles, paired with a disciplined approach to project management that keeps everything on track from first inspiration through final installation.

David lives with his husband in an 1836 farmhouse along the Delaware River, drawing inspiration from historic architecture and the landscape of the Delaware River Towns, Bucks County, and Chester County, where he grew up. That connection to place, craft, and the way people live at home is at the heart of everything David Ferron Studio does.
